Every ride is a chance to show passengers that you’re an experienced professional in the business. To clearly and concisely measure your efforts and make every good ride count, we ask passengers to rate you after the trip is over. Your service quality in Yango is based on your most recent 150 passenger ratings.
HOW WE CALCULATE RATINGS
Your rating is a weighted average from your most recent 150 rides, where the newer the feedback, the more it counts. When you start driving again after being away for a while (for example, on vacation), your rating stays the same as when you left.
HOW TO TRACK MY RATING
Taximeter has everything you need, and if your rating starts to slip, we’ll tell you. The easiest way to check your rating is to just look at the top panel in your profile.
NEW DRIVER RATING
When a new driver first goes online, their rating is a solid 5 (based on 50 rides all rated 5).
WHAT DOES MY RATING AFFECT
Your access to our service. Now if your rating is between 4.2 and 5, you have access. If it’s below 4.2, you don’t.
Priority point bonuses or penalties:
• A rating of 4.8 earns you +2 Priority points, and 4.9 or above earns you +4 points.
• If your rating is 4.6–4.8, your Priority doesn’t change.
• But a rating of 4.5–4.6 reduces your Priority by 3 points, and below 4.5 reduces Priority by 5 points.
For these bonuses or penalties to be applied, you need to have at least 50 user ratings.
⛔ You’ll be blocked if your rating falls below 4.2.
ACCESS TO COMFORT RIDES
To get premium ride requests, your rating must be at least 4.75.
⛔ HOW TO RESTORE ACCESS TO COMFORT RIDES
If you lost access to Comfort rides because your rating fell, you’ll still get Economy ride requests.
If you lost access to Comfort rides for the first or second time, you can try and restore it immediately. Just go to the Driver section in Yango Pro and tap the service class you lost access to. Then follow the instructions to restore temporary access.
Once temporary access is restored, you’ll have the same rating you had before it was restricted and the chance to complete another 150 rides where:
ride requests are offered as usual
you can raise your rating back to the threshold
If your rating continues to decline during this temporary period, your access to Comfort rides will be blocked before you complete all 150 rides. You’ll be offered another chance to restore access to Comfort rides in 6 months.
If after 150 rides you increased your rating back to the minimum, you’ll have access to premium service classes like normal. If you don’t, your next chance to restore access will be no sooner than in 6 months if your rating meets the requirement.
If it’s your third time losing access to Comfort rides, you’ll only have a chance to restore it in 6 months. Before the end of this period, don’t forget to increase your rating to the required level.
