How to cancel an order

To cancel an order, simply tap the button “Cancel order” in Taximeter. Make sure to specify a reason for cancelling.
Try to avoid cancelling already accepted orders, since you may lose some of your Activity points or even get banned.
You lose points when:
A dispatcher canceled an order upon your request;
Your passenger did not show up, but you did not wait for 10 minutes before canceling the order.
* Sometimes your taxi company may charge you penalties for canceled orders. Please note that Yandex.Taxi does not set up such penalties, so contact your dispatcher to learn more about the penalty rates and cancelation policies.
How to cancel an order properly without losing Activity points
If you are ready to pick up the passenger, but he/she does not show up, then:
Make a phone call or send a text message in the chat to notify the passenger that you are ready for pickup;
When the paid waiting time begins, notify the passenger about it;
If the passenger does not show up within 10 minutes, feel free to cancel the order. Simply tap “Cancel order” in the app and select “Client no-show”.
Please keep in mind that the 10-minute waiting period counts from a requested departure time specified in the order. You can view the pickup time on the order screen.
