We’re testing Yango Plus in Israel

Yango Plus is a membership club for Yango users. It provides benefits while using Yango services, such as 10% cashback in points for orders paid by card in Yango or Yango Deli apps.

Yango Plus users can then spend collected cashback points to pay for future orders or rides with Yango in part or in full.

However, the price for drivers always remains the same, regardless of whether users are in Yango Plus.

We believe this will help generate more ride requests for you.

How paying with points works

Yango Plus users get 10% cashback in points for Fix class rides made by card in the Yango app. When users collect enough points, they can use them to pay for cashless rides in the Fix service class. However, the price of Fix class rides will stay the same for you, with or without Plus. So, no worries. You’ll be fully compensated for Yango Plus points!

For example, suppose a ride costs ₪100 and the user pays ₪70 with points. In that case, ₪30 is immediately credited to your Yango Pro account, and the remaining ₪70 is added within a week. For everything to work correctly, it’s important to enter into the taximeter (Mone) only the part of the ride paid for with real money.

Wait for the final order screen at the end of the ride to see the amount paid in points and the amount you need to enter into the taximeter. For instance, in this example (₪100 ride, ₪70 paid with points), you need to enter ₪30. If you enter the entire amount in your taximeter without subtracting Plus points, users may complain, and your bonus might not be fully credited.
